Patria portable typewriter 1951

Here we have a beautiful example of the Patria portable typewriter in a gorgeous original burgundy finish. This model typewriter was also marketed by Swissa (as the Piccola) and by Oliver in the United Kingdom. It was a very popular model due to its lovely design, portability and usability. It continues to be much sought after by collectors and users alike, for these same qualities.
This Patria comes with the original User Manual. Dust Cover, Type-Key Guard (in faux tortoise-shell!) and key for the case. It also comes with the original case which is superb!
This typewriter comes from a Spanish family near the lovely town of Granada. They clearly prized it as it was in extremely good condition when I received it. Of course, this typewriter has been thoroughly cleaned, adjusted, lubricated and prepared in every way for regular use by its new owner. I have replaced the platen with a new one from one of the oldest rubber coating companies in Europe and it is ready to go.
Look at the photos and you will see for yourself the condition of the typewriter and the case. They have minimum signs of use or age.
The keyboard is original QWERTY and comes with extra characters for Spanish and French. The characters are a lovely Elite (12 characters per inch).
