Triumph Tippa Model B Necessaire 1957

This rare, super-portable Triumph Tippa B Necessaire model with original manual, typing test, brush and key for the case. It is in “as good as new” condition.. It is a beautiful bronze colour and comes with its original "Necessaire" case also in top condition. It also comes with the original User Manual,  typing test, and the original key for the case. This typewriter has been fully restored, cleaned, lubricated and adjusted. It embodies really innovative technical aspects and is incredibly slim and light. It is wonderful to use and absolutely lovely to look at! A lovely combination of inspired mid-century industrial design and German engineering! 
This is a fully-working--as original--typewriter. The only thing that you have to do is sit down, put paper on the roller and start typing. It comes with the Acme lead seal attached to the base. This seal permanently identifies this typewriter as a genuine Acme-restored typewriter and provides for a 6-month warranty at no charge. (See below for details.) We provide careful and attentive after-purchase advice and assistance from the date of purchase to the end of eternity to ensure your full satisfaction. This typewriter is in excellent cosmetic condition and working perfectly. The Triumph Tippa logo is bright and shiny. All the chrome is in excellent condition. The keytops are in excellent condition with no noticeable fingernail scratching. The finish is, in principle, unblemished with only a few very minor signs of use or wear. 
Mechanically this Tippa is in top working condition. Everything works as it should and as originally designed. The rubber on the platen roller is in fine condition with a durometer reading of 93-94 (Ideal being between 85-95. The paper feed rollers are in excellent condition. 
The lovely, natural leather coloured case is in beautiful condition. The hasp works perfectly and is shiny and uncorroded.  The interior is in exceptional condition with pockets for papers and the manual. The exterior of this lovely faux-leather case is in excellent, original condition with only very minor signs of wear and usage. 
The typeface is Pica (10 cpi). As compared to many Tippas of this epoch that I see for sale, this has the original QWERTY keyboard common to English language writers. It has accents needed to write in other European languages, too. 
This Triumph Tippa typewriter will be shipped via DHL Express (delivery to USA in 3-4 working days) to reduce the possibility of damage during shipment and to get it to you fast! Shipping costs for some countries can be very high but buyers from Canada, especially, and other countries can contact me after purchase to discuss ways of reducing shipping costs. I can refund the difference if we decide on an alternative shipping method.

Notes on the Warranty: Should anything require repair the Acme Type Machine Company (an established company in the Netherlands with Chamber of Commerce registration number 74166247) will repair it free of charge when shipped to our workshop. Due to the costs of shipping and the possibilities therein for damage during the shipping process we will work with you to make any required adjustments or repairs at home prior to taking the step to ship it to our workshop in Holland. Should it be preferable due to costs involved, we will also discuss the possibility of bringing it to a local professional typewriter repair service to make the necessary repairs. 
The warranty does not cover damage due to mishandling or dropping the typewriter, breakage of platen roller knobs or for ordinary typewriter maintenance such as ribbon changing, platen roller renovation, character adjustment due to extensive use etc.
