Rheinmetall KsT Typewriter 1960

This is a 1960, Rheinmetall Kst typewriter, in an unusual two-tone blue colour. It is in exceptional condition in every way. It is fully working in every way and has been fully serviced, aligned and adjusted. We have outfitted this KsT with a new two-colour ribbon so you can start typing immediately. It comes with a lovely, faux-leather case in excellent condition, the original Rheinmetall cleaning brush, polishing cloth and one original metal ribbon spool.

The body colour finish is completely original and is unblemished by sun or any other factors. This typewriter has been well-protected and extremely well cared-for during its lifetime. 
Mechanically this typewriter is in perfect working condition. All systems have been checked and adjusted or aligned as necessary. It has been thoroughly cleaned and properly lubricated for years of service.All the chrome is unblemished and uncorroded. The keytops are in excellent condition without any signs of fingernail scratching or any other damage. Everything works as it should and as originally designed. 
This is a Model KsT and therefore has the tabulator system.  
Based on the serial number (581927) this machine was manufactured in 1960. 
The keyboard is standard US/UK (QWERTY) and has the "@" sign (important nowadays). The typeface is Elite (11 c.p.i.) and is a very nice, elegant font.
Regarding the rubber: Platen Roller is smooth, clean and soft, with a durometer reading of 89 (ideal is considered by most to be between 82 and 95). The Paper Feeder Rollers are new-like and soft. The Feet are new-like and soft.
Regarding the chrome and aluminium: Perfect.
Regarding the Body condition: Nearly Perfect. There is a spot under the space bar to the right that is the size of the head of a pin. That is it! The paint finish overall is wonderful!
It comes with the original case which is in excellent condition inside and outside. There are a couple of very minor blemishes on the outside of the case. The interior has minor marks where the typewriter feet have sat for decades and one small tear to the fabric towards the rear. The original Rheinmetall cleaning brush is included. The chrome on the two side pieces of the handle is somewhat corroded.
