This is an extraordinarily fine and beautiful, Greek language, HERMES BABY Typewriter. This typewriter is in "like new" condition.
Hermes is one of the most renowned brands and models of typewriter ever made, and this is an exceptional example of the "Baby" model, also known as the "Rocket", from 1961. This is the perfect portable typing machine, weighing only ~3.6kg/8 lbs! This typewriter is in superb condition, mechanically and cosmetically, and has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, adjusted and aligned. It is a typing machine that is ready to work for another 60 years of typing service. And with its brilliant Hermes engineering, it does that with elegance, smoothness and solidity.
The keyboard is Greek language and includes the @ sign. This typewriter has the compact typeface of Hermes Pica (13 cpi). It comes with a new, bi-colour ribbon. Please note that the first H in the typing sample (in Hermes) was mis-typed by me. You can see that it prints normally further down in the sample.

This is a fully-working--as original--typewriter. The only thing that you have to do is sit down, put paper on the roller and start typing. This Hermes comes with the "Acme" lead certification seal attached to the typewriter under the keyboard. This seal permanently identifies this typewriter as a genuine Acme-restored typewriter and provides for a 6-month warranty at no charge. (See below for details.) In terms of an investment, the Acme Seal proves that this machine was restored in 2020 by the Acme Type Machine Company. This can add value in the event that you wish to sell this typewriter in the future.
Overall, this typewriter is in superb, original condition. The chrome parts are in top condition with no signs of corrosion. The keys are clean and unmarked by use. Both platen roller knobs are solid and clean. The body finish is in wonderful condition with uniform colour. This typewriter is original and has not been over-painted or otherwise changed from its originally manufactured state.
Mechanically, it is in perfectly excellent working condition. The platen-roller is smooth and clean with a hardness reading of ~94. Ideal is between 85 and 95, so it is still in a good range for typing. (A new platen can be ordered after purchase, at a cost of 95€, if desired.) The paper feeder rollers are like new. All mechanisms have been tested and adjusted and work like new. It has been fitted with two vintage metal ribbon spools.  Everything on this typewriter is original to its manufacture and purchase except the new rubber feet and the new ribbon.
The case/cover is in fantastic condition both inside and out. The colour is uniform and unfaded. The chrome pieces are clean and shiny and the handle is clean and intact. The interior is in excellent condition.
