The platen roller has been refurbished with new rubber by one of the oldest factories in Europe. It has a new "Acme Signature" blue ribbon with two original metal ribbon spools and comes with a hard case. Mechanically this typewriter is in top working condition. Everything works as it should and as originally designed. The rubber on the platen roller, as stated, is new and the rubber on the paper feed rollers is in excellent condition and appropriately soft.
