This wonderful HERMES 3000, is in top condition, mechanically and cosmetically, and has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, adjusted and aligned. The typewriter has been fitted with a new ribbon so you can start typing immediately. This is a typing machine that is ready to work for many good years of typing service. And with its brilliant Hermes engineering, it does that with elegance, smoothness and solidity.
The chrome and aluminum are in top condition with no signs of corrosion. The typing keys are clean and unmarked by use. Both platen roller knobs are absolutely solid.  Mechanically, this Hermes is working like new. The paper feeder rollers are in perfect condition and soft. The platen, as mentioned, is new and will serve you well for many years to come. The rubber feet are solid and and grip the desktop well. All mechanical devices have been checked and adjusted as necessary, and work as originally manufactured.
