This is the much sought-after "curvy" model and has been fully reconditioned with a new platen. It comes with a rare, deLuxe leather case, with silk interior, all in perfect condition, inside and out. And has the original cleaning brushes and user manual.
The Hermes 3000 is widely regarded as one of the most fully realized portable typewriters of the twentieth century, combining precision engineering with a remarkable typing feel.
This example originates from Switzerland and is fitted with a QWERTY keyboard with extended character and accent keys, suitable for multilingual use. The typing action is smooth and controlled, with consistent response across the keyboard.
