Olivetti Studio 46 Typewriter from the French Ambassador

This is an Olivetti Studio 46 typewriter from 1975. During the late 1970s and early 1980s it was on the desk of the French Ambassador to Holland. It was not his secretary's typewriter so it has not been overused. The keyboard is AZERTY (French standard). It has been fully refurbished: cleaned, serviced, adjusted and aligned--and outfitted with a new ribbon. It has a cool, modern styling although it is 50 years old. 
This is a solid, heavy-duty typewriter, yet has the look and feel of a smaller typewriter. The carriage just moves so smoothly and gently along. Lovely! The typing feel of this typewriter is very nice and will suit you if you want to type for long stretches—or short ones!
This Olivetti is in overall excellent cosmetic condition. The chrome is in beautiful condition and the rubber on the platen is clean and smooth and appropriately soft. 
Mechanically, this Studio 46 works perfectly. This typewriter is ready to type for another 50 years. The typeface is Elite (11 cpi) and it has a new ribbon so you can start typing immediately.
