Original Forest-Green Finish
This wonderful typewriter, finished in a scarce, rich shade of green, comes from southern Germany and has been preserved in exceptional original condition.  The green finish—all original—retains remarkable depth and lustre, with virtually no fading. The original chrome remains bright and the rubber components retain their correct resilience.
The matching green carrying case is equally well preserved. One of the finest that we have ever seen, it is nearly without a mark of wear or use.
Manufactured by Rheinmetall-Borsig in Sömmerda, the KsT earned a reputation for robust engineering and dependable mechanical performance. While less widely known than some of its contemporaries, it remains one of the finest German portable typewriters of its period, combining thoughtful industrial design with a remarkably smooth and confident typing action.
This typewriter has been fully restored by Acme to its original mechanical standard. The mechanism has been cleaned, adjusted, and calibrated, and a new bi-colour ribbon has been installed. It bears the permanent Acme Seal, attached in a discrete place and is accompanied by its original brushes.
An unusually well-preserved example of one of Germany's finest post-war portable typewriters, distinguished by its scarce and original finish and remarkable completeness.
