Empire Aristocrat Typewriter 1953

Here is another summer typewriter for the poolside, patio or even beach! This is a very nice example of the Hermes Baby clone: the Empire Aristocrat, manufactured in the UK using the original Hermes design. it is in very nice condition, mechanically and cosmetically, and has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, adjusted and aligned. This typewriter has been fitted with a new "Acme Signature" blue ribbon so you can start using it immediately. This isa great portable typing machine weighing only around 8 lbs (4 kg).
This is a typing machine that is ready to work for many good years of typing service. 
This typewriter has a QWERTY keyboard (standard English layout). The typeface is a solid Pica with 10 characters to the inch. 
The case/cover is overall in nice condition. The handle is clean and intact and the chrome parts show minimal corrosion.
