SORRY, RESERVED! 1954 Alpina SK24

Just in time for St. Valentine's Day, we are pleased to offer this lovely, red and beige, Alpina typewriter in superb overall condition. This is a rare, Alpina SK24 from 1954, considered by many to be a masterpiece of design, both mechanical and aesthetic. The SK model has the desirable "Tab" function. This typewriter has been fully restored and conserved to our highest standards. It is fully working in all details and is in exceptionally fine condition overall. It comes with one original Alpina cleaning brush, a new "Acme Signature" blue ribbon and a wonderful hard case. This is the original colour and finish; it has not been repainted. This typewriter is truly a "statement" on the desk of any serious screenwriter, journalist, novelist or even the occasional letter-writer. 
This is a fully-working--as original--typewriter. The only thing that you have to do is sit down, put paper on the roller and start typing. This Alpina comes with the "Acme" lead certification seal attached to the typewriter under the keyboard. This seal permanently identifies this typewriter as a genuine Acme-restored typewriter and provides for a 6-month warranty at no charge. (See below for details.) We guarantee safe delivery and provide careful and attentive after-purchase advice and assistance from the date of purchase to the end of eternity to ensure your full satisfaction. In terms of an investment, the Acme Seal proves that this machine was restored in 2021 by the Acme Type Machine Company. This can add value in the event that you wish to sell this typewriter in the future.
In superior cosmetic condition and working perfectly. The original colour is uniform everywhere on the typewriter and the finish is unblemished. The keytops are unscratched and the platen is clean, smooth and has a hardness measurement of ~92 (between 85 and 95 is considered ideal). The paper feed rollers and the rubber feet are in excellent condition.
Mechanically it is in excellent working condition. It does not seem to have been much used and to have been carefully maintained as well. It has been fully cleaned, adjusted, aligned and lubricated for years of future use.
Based on the serial number (26729) this machine is from 1954, the second year of production for this model Alpina. The typeface is Elite, 11 cpi. (see example in photos). The keyboard is QWERTY and has additional German language keys. 
The case is in excellent, original condition. The hasp works perfectly and  the interior is overall in excellent condition.

Notes on the Warranty: Should anything require repair the Acme Type Machine Company (an established company in the Netherlands with Chamber of Commerce registration number 74166247) will repair it free of charge when shipped to our workshop. Due to the costs of shipping and the possibilities therein for damage during the shipping process we will work with you to make any required adjustments or repairs at home prior to taking the step to ship it to our workshop in Holland. Should it be preferable due to costs involved, we will also discuss the possibility of bringing it to a local professional typewriter repair service to make the necessary repairs. 
The warranty does not cover damage due to mishandling or dropping the typewriter, breakage of platen roller knobs or for ordinary typewriter maintenance such as ribbon changing, platen roller renovation, character adjustment due to extensive use etc.
