This is a 1960, Rheinmetall Kst typewriter, in an unusual two-tone colour. The lower part is sort of a greenish-beige, and the upper part is sort of a yellowish colour. It is in exceptional condition in every way. It is fully working and has been fully serviced, aligned and adjusted. We have outfitted this KsT with a new two-colour ribbon so you can start typing immediately. It comes with a lovely, hard case in excellent condition.
These Rheinmetalls have a precise, smooth and relatively soft typing action. It is a wonderful feel and that is part of what makes them so popular.
This is a fully-working--as original--typewriter. The only thing that you have to do is sit down, put paper on the roller and start typing. This Rheinmetall typewriter comes with the "Acme" lead certification seal attached to the typewriter. This seal permanently identifies this typewriter as a genuine Acme-restored typewriter and provides for a 6-month warranty at no charge. (See below for details.) We guarantee safe delivery and provide careful and attentive after-purchase advice and assistance from the date of purchase to the end of eternity to ensure your full satisfaction. In terms of an investment, the Acme Seal proves that this machine was restored in 2020 by the Acme Type Machine Company. This can add value in the event that you wish to sell this typewriter in the future.
Mechanically this typewriter is in perfect working condition. All systems have been checked and adjusted or aligned as necessary. It has been thoroughly cleaned and properly lubricated for years of service.All the chrome and aluminum is unblemished and uncorroded. The keytops are in excellent condition without any signs of fingernail scratching or any other damage. Everything works as it should and as originally designed. 
This is a Model KsT and therefore has the tabulator system.  
Based on the serial number (565505) this machine was manufactured in 1960. 
The keyboard is standard US/UK (QWERTY) and has accent keys for European languages. The typeface is Pica (10 c.p.i.) and is a very nice, elegant font.
Regarding the rubber: Platen Roller is smooth, clean and soft, with a perfect durometer reading of 89 (ideal is considered to be between 82 and 95). The Paper Feeder Rollers are new-like and soft. The Feet are new-like and soft.
Regarding the chrome and aluminium: Only the slightest signs of usage.
Regarding the Body condition: Nearly Perfect. There are very small blemishes on the left side of the body. That is it! The paint finish overall is wonderful!
It comes with the original case which is in excellent condition inside and outside. There are a couple of very minor blemishes on the outside of the case and the edges of the handle show some wear. The interior has minor marks where the typewriter feet have sat for decades and some small wear marks.

Notes on the 6-month Mechanical Warranty: Should anything require repair on the typewriter the Acme Type Machine Company (an established company in the Netherlands with Chamber of Commerce registration 74166247) will repair it free of charge when shipped to our workshop. Due to the costs of shipping and the possibilities therein for damage during the shipping process we will work with you to make any required adjustments or repairs at home prior to taking the step to ship it to our workshop in Holland. Should it be preferable due to costs involved, we will also discuss the possibility of bringing it to a local professional typewriter repair service to make the necessary repairs. 
The warranty does not cover damage due to mishandling, incorrect use or dropping the typewriter, or for ordinary typewriter maintenance such as ribbon changing, platen roller renovation, character adjustment due to extensive use etc.
