SORRY, SOLD! 1963 Irene (Erika) Model 10 Typewriter

A wonderful and very rare two-tone, green and cream coloured ERIKA Model 10, marketed as an "Irene" typewriter in superb condition from 1963. Comes complete with original case in superb condition with all original documents and tools: User Manual, typing test-sheet, erasure guide, metal letter-pick, cleaning brush set and buffing cloth. It has been professionally adjusted and cleaned and is in superb condition cosmetically and mechanically. This typewriter has not been repainted; it is all original. The platen and other rubber parts are in excellent condition. This typewriter will give you many years of fine, comfortable use and is a stunning addition to your desktop or shelf.
The styling is sublime, the typing action is springy and fast, yet solid to the touch. Erika typewriters are well-known and well-respected for the unique lever system they have for typing. This system gives a more relaxed "touch" than standard typewriters. The lovely green colour of the keys add a rich counterpoint to the colour scheme. It has a QWERTY international keyboard with keys for European languages and the typeface is a beautiful Erika Pica (10 cpi). It has a new ribbon and is ready to type.

Overall, this typewriter is in top condition, both mechanically and cosmetically. All keys type as new, the platen-roller, as mentioned, has new rubber. The body finish is in excellent condition with almost no signs of age or use. The Chrome is in perfect condition. The rubber feet and paper feeder rollers are in excellent and soft condition.
This Model 10 comes with the original "leather" case. The case is in excellent condition externally and internally.  Many Erika cases have deformed bases (a design flaw) which makes transport difficult. This case is in perfect condition with no deformity.
The paint is all original, as are all other aspects of this beautiful typewriter.
