SORRY, SOLD! 1963 Ursula Typewriter—Rare and Fine in like-new condition!

€620.00Price

A wonderful and rare fern-green-coloured URSULA typewriter from 1963. Comes complete with a beautiful original case in extraordinarily fine condition. Also comes with case-key, original brochure, user handbook and typing test, and original cleaning brushes. In superb condition cosmetically and mechanically, it has been professionally adjusted and restored.  This typewriter has not been over-painted; it is all original.

It has an indescribable light green colour that just seems to glow. In the window of our gallery in The Hague I see people stop and point, taking photos and just staring at it! Set designers, interior designers, and others for whom the colour tone and hue is critical, please contact me for colour-calibrated photos. It was very difficult to photograph the exact tone and hue.

The styling is sublime, the typing action is subtle and fast, yet solid to the touch. The Ursula is from the famous Seidell and Naumann typewriter factory in Germany and is a rebrand of the fabulous Erika Model 12. These typewriters are well-known and well-respected for the unique lever system they have for typing. This system gives a more relaxed "touch" than standard typewriters. The lovely deep-green colour of the keys add a rich complement to the colour scheme. It has a QWERTY international keyboard with keys for European languages and the typeface is a beautiful Pica (10 cpi). It has a new ribbon and is ready to type.
