1977 Olivetti-Underwood Typewriter

Here we have a beautiful, mid-1970s, Olivetti-Underwood, Model 319, Typewriter from 1977.  This is a solid and smooth typing machine in top condition, mechanically and cosmetically, and it has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, adjusted and aligned.  Olivettis are dependable typing machines and this one is ready for another 50 years of good typing. It has a great "retro" look and will be handsome on your desk or shelf. 
 
 
Like all of our typewriters this is a fully-working typewriter. It comes with the "Acme" lead certification seal attached to the typewriter which permanently identifies it as a genuine Acme-restored typewriter. We have a one-year mechanical warranty on all typewriters sold and provide careful and attentive after-purchase advice and assistance from the date of purchase to the end of eternity to ensure your full satisfaction. In terms of an investment, the Acme Seal proves that this machine was restored by the Acme Type Machine Company. This can add value in the event that you wish to sell this typewriter in the future. 
Overall, this typewriter is in excellent condition. The chrome parts are in top condition and the typing keys are clean and unmarked by use. Both platen roller knobs are solid and clean. The body has some signs of use and wear but mostly on the back panel, out of sight. Mechanically, it is in top working condition. The platen rubber is clean and soft (measures ~93 on the durometer with 85-95 being ideal). The paper feeder rollers are like new. All mechanisms have been tested and adjusted and work like new. 
The keyboard is a QWERTY keyboard (English language) and has an elegant Pica typeface of (~10 cpi).
