Erika Model 12 typewriter with Cork Platen! 1962, with case

A very interesting ERIKA Model 12 typewriter from 1962. And this one comes with a rare cork platen! Comes complete with a beautiful original case in extraordinarily fine condition. In excellent condition cosmetically and mechanically, it has been professionally aligned, adjusted and restored, and it comes with a new ribbon so you can start typing immediately. 
Erika typewriters are well-known and well-respected for the unique lever system they have for typing. This system gives a more relaxed "touch" than standard typewriters. It has a QWERTY international keyboard with keys for European languages and the typeface is a beautiful Erika Pica (10 c.p.i.).

Overall, this typewriter is in top condition, both mechanically and cosmetically. All keys type as new, the cork platen-roller is smooth and clean with a perfect hardness/softness for typing. The body finish is in excellent condition with very minimal signs of age or use. The Chrome is in very fine condition overall. The rubber feet are in excellent and soft condition.
This Model 12 comes with the original soft case. The case is in excellent condition externally and internally.  Unlike many Erika cases, this one has no bending of the attachments which is often a problem on this era Erika cases.
