Erika Typewriter with RUSSIAN characters. As new condition! (1973)

Here is a brilliant example of an Erika Model 32 typewriter from 1973 with Cyrillic (Russian) characters. It is in "as-new" condition, including the case. This, little-used, Russian-charactered typewriter was purchased from a German academic who used it only for writing his dissertation and then put it away.

The Model 32 has all of the fine mechanics that Erika typewriters are known for. Many variations of this model were manufactured through the 60s and 70s. Its smooth, responsive key action and crisp typing feel make every page a pleasure to write, while its sturdy construction has allowed many examples to remain in use decades after they were built.
This typewriter is in perfect working condition and is flawless cosmetically. The rubber on the platen is in perfect condition, clean, smooth and soft, with a ~91 hardness measurement (ideal being 85-95). The chrome is unblemished. It comes with its original case in superb condition inside and out.
It has a Cyrillic keyboard and the typing action is superb: light and fast but with solid and quick carriage movement (for fast typewriting). The typeface is Pica, with 10 characters per inch.
