Original 2-tone Green Finish
This wonderful typewriter, finished in complementary shades of green, was found in the Bavaria region in Germany and has been preserved in exceptional original condition. The green finish—all original—retains remarkable depth and lustre, with virtually no fading. The original chrome remains bright and fresh.
This wonderful typewriter is fully reconditioned and comes with its original carrying case in very fine condition, original cleaning brushes and polishing cloth, and a new ribbon so that you can start typing immediately!
Manufactured by Rheinmetall-Borsig in Sömmerda, the KsT earned a reputation for robust engineering and dependable mechanical performance. While less widely known than some of its contemporaries, it remains one of the finest German portable typewriters of its period, combining thoughtful industrial design with a remarkably smooth and confident typing action.
This typewriter has been fully restored by Acme to its original mechanical standard. The mechanism has been cleaned, adjusted, and calibrated, and a new bi-colour ribbon has been installed. It bears the permanent Acme Seal, attached in a discrete place and is accompanied by its originally-provided cleaning equipment.
An unusually well-preserved example of one of Germany's finest post-war portable typewriters, distinguished by its scarce and original finish and remarkable completeness.
