Swissa Junior Typewriter (1965) with Techno/Cubic Typeface!

A 1965 Swissa Junior typewriter in exceptional condition, preserved in its original finish and fitted with the distinctive Techno/Cubic Elite typeface. Compact in form yet substantial in feel, it reflects the precision and solidity associated with mid‑century Swiss manufacture.
The mechanics are clean and responsive, with a smooth carriage, tight alignment, and a reconditioned platen producing a crisp impression. Rubber components, feed rollers, and feet remain in excellent condition. The finish is original and well‑preserved, showing only light wear on the carriage‑return lever. The machine retains the characteristic “disentangler” key, a thoughtful feature of the Junior’s design.
Swissa typewriters were produced in relatively small numbers between the mid‑1950s and mid‑1960s, and surviving examples in this condition are uncommon. The Junior shares its lineage with the Swissa Piccola, both manufactured by Birchmeier’s Söhne in Murgental, Aargau.
