Voss Typewriter, Model ST24, 1953, with NEW PLATEN!
Voss ST24 typewriter and carrying case
Germany, mid-20th century
The Voss ST24 is a relatively uncommon deluxe variant of the S24, distinguished by its integrated tabulator system and substantial mechanical construction. Designed as a full-size machine, it reflects mid-century German priorities of durability, precision, and long service life.
This example features a champagne-coloured body with grey keys and presents in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. The machine has been professionally restored, with all functions cleaned, adjusted, aligned, and lubricated to original operating standards. The typing action is smooth, controlled, and notably solid.
The platen has been reconditioned with new rubber. The paper feed rollers and feet remain soft and functional. Chrome components are clean and well preserved. Minor cosmetic wear is limited and consistent with careful use.
The keyboard is QWERTY with European language support. The machine types in Pica and is supplied with a fresh ribbon.
The hard, carrying case is in particularly fine condition.
Discreetly marked with the Acme restoration seal, indicating professional restoration completed in 2026.
