SORRY, SOLD, 1949 Pontiac (S.I.M.) Typewriter in like-new condition

This is a Pontiac typewriter manufactured by S.I.M. in 1949. It is in a like-new condition and is a marvelous typer! 
Not very much is known about SIM (or S.I.M.) typewriters although they were marketed, in small quantities, under various names, including Pontiac, in the 1940s and early 1950s. S.I.M. or Societâ Industriale Meccanica typewriters were produced in Turin, Italy. Why this model was called "Pontiac" is, sadly, anyone's guess!
This Pontiac typewriter is in fully-working condition and absolutely gorgeous with no external signs of wear or use. The internal mechanics are in superb condition; this typewriter was rarely used by its previous owner. It comes from a French family of international traders who settled in the Netherlands in the early 1960s.
The cosmetic condition is fantastic, as you can see. The platen is in excellent condition: smooth and clean. The rubber feet are big and soft and grip the desk well. The paper feeder rollers are soft and grip the paper well. 
The typeface is a handsome Elite (11 characters to the inch) and the keyboard is AZERTY  It has a new bi-colour ribbon, on the two original metal ribbon spools so you can start typing immediately.
